“When we decided to switch to Cloud Based Communications, INTERMEDIA was one of a number of highly rated systems. We went with Intermedia because it is supported by Envision with whom we have worked for over 20 years. They provided excellent support for our previous phone system. They have long term employees who are knowledgeable and easy to work with. We much prefer to work with a local company that understands our needs.

Envision’s staff took time to understood our staff’s busy schedule and worked around it to minimize any disruption to our operations.

Intermedia’s Desktop app makes it easier for team members to communicate with each other by seeing who is available, send messages and place calls. The mobile app is a time saver since team members can be reached wherever they are with one call instead of trying their office extension and, when there is no answer, then calling their cell phone.  Being able to call patients from our cell phones and having the main office number display instead of our personal phone number has been very useful.  We are currently working with Salesforce to integrate one of their healthcare CRM solutions with out Intermedia system. When a study volunteer calls, their information will automatically come up on the desktop which should be a real time saver for our staff. We will also be able to send texts and documents to study participants via this application.”

“In 2010 we partnered with Envision Networked Solutions to install a Mitel phone system.  As a result we saved thousands of dollars, had a better more robust phone system with excellent customer service provided by responsive and well trained Envision staff.  Recently our Mitel system was approaching its “end of life.”   Also at that time our internet service provider contract needed renewal.  I forwarded our proposed contract to Envision (Jay) for review.  Envision recommended we change our internet service provider saving us thousands of dollars.  At that time we also agreed to install INTERMEDIA a true VOIP system.

The hardware installation was completed in a day.  A power over ethernet adapter was provided that allowed us to use our existing cat3 phone cabling so the installation was efficient.  In addition, our prepaid maintenance fee for our old Mitel system was used as a credit to offset INTERMEDIA installation costs as well as a rebate.

Our telephone system is an important part of our business.  We have customers calling in and checking on orders throughout the day.   Our system is very stable and we are able to get our voicemail emailed to us.  A nice feature while traveling.  Changes to our system can be made quickly as it can be done remotely .  We are very happy with our INTERMEDIA phone system.”

“Envision came highly recommended and provided PBS Hawai’i with a complete solution for our new facility. The Digium system gives us flexibility to move phones easily to accommodate our staff as well as support our volunteer phone banks during live call-in public affairs programs. We’re very happy with our decision.”

-Leslie Wilcox President and CEO of PBS Hawai’i

PBS Hawai’i selected Envision to install the Digium Switchvox IP PBX and Cat6 Data Cable in their beautiful two-story, energy-efficient building on the corner of Nimitz Hwy and Sand Island Access Road. The installation was coordinated with the IT vendor and Contractor.

The design allowed a single cabling infrastructure to support both the data network and voice applications provided by the Digium PBX.

Hawaii Prince Hotel Waikiki

As part of a $57 million renovation of the Hawaii Prince Hotel Waikiki, Envision was contracted to upgrade existing legacy infrastructure with Category 6 and Fiber backbone cabling. The new cabling will support IP-TV, future IP phones and wireless access in each room. Envision’s engineering approach found ways to reuse existing pathways which resulted in cost savings for the hotel. Over 9000 feet of fiber and 223,000 feet of Cat6 cabling were run.

Hanalei Bay Resort

Hanalei Bay Resort is a premier timeshare vacation destination located on the North Shore of Kauai; consisting of 16 buildings housing roughly 240 residential condominium units. An aging copper infrastructure was replaced with a new, more modern outside plant cable design that incorporated terminal pedestals to replace problematic buried cable and splice cases. Envision designed and deployed the new cable distribution system for their in-house (PBX) telephone system by reclaiming and refurbishing salvageable assets to reduce cost, while expand capacity by adding and redistributing additional cable pairs were capacity was needed. Termination components were selected specifically to address a harsh corrosive tropic coastal environment.
